What is net modified stableford? How can a scoring method improve your golf experience?

Net birdie is a wonderful concept. The idea of making a birdie because you are getting strokes is a glimpse of happiness in an otherwise bleak world. This scoring system doubles that reward because a net birdie is worth twice as much as missing a net par putt. This is what Stableford is all about. Birdies are worth 2, pars 0 and bogeys -1. This format is easy to handicap and rewards risk taking in ways that medal scoring doesn't. Net double bogeys are -3 so don't go messing around.
